It is designed to be lean, fast, and highly scalable.

Features such as Nonblocking IO, Native compilation of JSP and servlets, and a servlet engine running natively on GNU/Linux systems sets RWS apart from all other servlet containers.

JDBC drivers.
Get native JDBC libraries for MySQL and MS SQL 2000. Easily deployed, just compile and drop it into /shared directory. When starting, RWS automatically detects and loads the library.

XML parsers.
Gnu JAXP parser engine for use with RWS available.
